Ready for a summer 2024 wardrobe re-fresh?
Determined to stay cool / chic in the Med summer heat?
Dreaming of that effortless Med Style?
After spending a summer in the heat of the Med, I learned that there are some wardrobe items to leave in the cold climate / winter closet: Long pants / jeans, dark colours, anything tight, and high heels.
In Med summer heat, you don’t want any fabric stuck to your body at any time. No pants/trousers or jeans, unless they are shorts. No dark colours, you will burst into flames. And ladies, as much as we love them, no need for high heels - casual is the vibe, and cobble-stoned streets are not friends with heels. I opt for open footwear at all times - I also don’t want any fabric stuck to my feet in the heat!
I love a seasonal wardrobe re-fresh from time to time - just a couple of new pieces... TIP: Recycle one old for one new - see my previous blog for online re-sale websites.

I love that comfort first Birks are not just for the house or garden anymore. The new Birks are glammed up for every occasion, without compromising on comfort and durability.
Once one pair gets worn out, I have another in the cart!
My favourites are the Gizeh line - I like a sandal that doesn’t make my toes have to work too hard. This version is made with super comfy syntheitc instead of cork and leather - it comes in many colours - soooo perfect for the beach!
